FORUM PRESENTS JANIS GAY AND JUDY KERR FROM MVFR
(Murder Victims' Families for Reconciliation)
Janis Gay, a third generation
Northern California, taught middle school in St. Helena for 29 years and
is now the receptionist for a Napa Valley accounting firm. She serves
on the Board of Directors for MVFR. She will speak about her grandfather
who murdered another human being, how that affected the family, how the
family dealt with the shame, and the transformation she experienced when
she learned about MVFR. Judy Kerr
is the Northern California Victim Outreach Coordinator for MVFR. Her brother
Robert was murdered in 2003, and his death has deepened her opposition
to the death penalty.
