CIRCLES
OF EIGHT
In Circles of Eight, Members and Friends of the Church get together in small
groups (of eight people) in a social setting. It is a lot of fun and a wonderful
opportunity to get to know each other better.
The coordinators put a group of eight people together who meet once a month
for dinner or some other event. Typically the host rotates so that the Circle
of Eight meets four times at a different house / location. All contribute
some dish, drink or other element of the dinner (or lunch) so that the burden
of cooking and preparing is shared.
This is not limited to sharing a meal together: Circles of Eight have gone
on a boat ride in the Bay, visited a play or musical, have gone on a picnic
in a vineyard etc.
If you prefer to attend a day-time get together instead of an evening activity,
please join the “High Nooners”.
